In today’s music scene, it’s the audience who calls the shots, and if they want Spanish music, then that’s what they’ll get. No one can dictate who people relate to or what language they prefer listening to. The power is in the hands of the people. Age, genre, background, or language – none of it matters as long as an artist can connect with their fans through music. Back when I released Laundry Service, I faced a lot of hurdles and had to work hard to convince others. But times have changed, and now singing in Spanish is the trendiest thing to do.
