Both Kiernan Shipka, 15, and Chloe Grace Moretz, 18, were nominated for the title of ‘Trendiest Teen Queen’ at InStyle’s Social Media Awards. However, at the Coach Women’s Spring 2016 fashion show, there seemed to be no rivalry between the two rising stars. They were spotted sitting together in the front row, wearing matching outfits.
Stylish teenagers Chloe Grace Moretz and Kiernan Shipka were seen rocking floral tops and mini skirts at the Coach Women’s Spring Collection show during the Spring Summer 2016 New York Fashion Week at the High Line in New York City.
Buddy-buddy: The up-and-coming talents were seen grinning as they sat side by side. Chloe rocked a diverse floral top tucked into a striking red leather skirt, paired with black strappy stilettos. Her blonde hair was styled in loose waves, cascading down past her perfect skin. Chloe completed her outfit with a soft makeup look and a purple leather shoulder bag.
Angling for the spotlight: Both performers were keen on highlighting their profiles in the photos.
Fit: The ambassador for Coach flaunted her sculpted legs as she posed in chic black open-toe stiletto heels with ankle straps.
In the front row of the fashion show, stylish celebrities Kiernan and Chloe were spotted alongside Sydney Sierota and Harley Viera-Newton. Prior to stepping out, the actress shared on Twitter that her shirt had ripped on the way to the event, but she remained poised and composed throughout. She was announced as the latest ambassador for Coach in January.
Ciara and Zoe Kravitz were twinning in matching monochrome ensembles, both rocking bold scarlet accents.
Ciara beamed from her seat on the bleachers, taking in the view from above.
The singer definitely turned heads as they casually made their way to the venue, probably causing a few car brakes to squeal in the process.
Zoe casually donned her sunglasses and took a seat next to Debbie Harry in the middle and Alia Shawkat on the right.
Anna Wintour looked sophisticated in an emerald green dress with a unique pattern, pairing it with her iconic hairstyle. On the other hand, Kiernan went for a simple yet chic style, wearing a black and white floral blouse that matched Chloe’s top. She elegantly tucked her blouse into a fashionable black suede and leather mini-skirt. To complete her outfit, the Mad Men star accessorized with a white and black cross-body bag and stylish black open-toe booties.
Christina Ricci added some furry flair to her monochromatic outfit by styling a playful shaggy vest.
Adoring mom Mariel Hemingway tenderly placed her hand on her daughter Langley Fox Hemingway’s leg, showing her love and affection.
Shine: Carine Roitfeld added some pizzazz to her outfit by rocking a stunning pair of gold heels. Her caramel hair was styled sleek and straight with a side part, complemented by a sultry smoky eye look. The star-studded event also saw the likes of Anna Wintour from American Vogue, Zoe Kravitz, Ciara, and Christina Ricci. Coach’s latest luxury line, Coach 1961, made its debut at the show, marking a significant moment for the brand. This was a major milestone for Coach, as it was their premiere runway show at NYFW.
In an effort to rebrand itself, Coach has been striving to appear more trendy, sophisticated, and exclusive. Fashionista.com notes that since Stuart Vevers, former Loewe Creative Director, took over as Coach’s head in 2013, the brand has been moving away from its previous Middle America look towards a more youthful and edgier image. At the same time, Chloe recently unveiled a new trailer for its upcoming movie, The 5th Wave, scheduled for release on January 15, 2016. This sci-fi adventure film is set in a post-apocalyptic world where Earth has been devastated by alien invaders known as ‘the others’.
Exciting news: Chloe’s upcoming movie, The 5th Wave, just dropped a brand new trailer.
